childhood
Tbh, I grew up feeling really isolated and lonely. I was the first person in my family to be born in the U.S., so I had to figure out a lot of things on my own since my parents (bless their big hearts) didnāt have the context of an American childhood š„

adolescence
This sense of feeling alone hit hardest during my adolescent years, during which I was a huge tomboy, while a lot of the other girls were learning how to do makeup and figuring out their beauty routines (not to be gendered about it, but it was the 90's and stereotypes were alive and well) š

adulthood
As an adult, I still hadnāt learned the basics, and makeup still felt really foreign to me. I found existing products and tutorials really intimidating, complicated, and time-consuming š«
I wanted to wear makeup when I felt like it, but because I wasn't confident applying it myself, it never felt accessible or fun š
Soā¦.i dreamed up a whole ass brand to make makeup effortless, experimental, and fun af for anyone who wanted to achieve beautiful makeup looks instantly š¤©
